The Hair Lair, located in the Mission Valley area, specializes in hair color and cutting
services. By offering the Organic Color System and other low ammonia color lines, the overwhelming chemical smell found
in most traditional salons is not an issue. No harmful odors and the private setting ensures a more pleasant experience

Andrea Riklin, operator of The Hair Lair, has been in the beauty industry for over 15 years.
After receiving
her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and working at a domestic violence shelter, Andrea wanted to help women feel good about
themselves not only inside but outside. Working in a salon
has been a great way to help achieve that goal.
Andrea loves everything about the beauty world from hair to makeup but her
favorite has always been experimenting on her own hair color. Her passion for hair color led her to pursue a corporate
career as a Color Educator. Andrea worked for the Wella Sebastian Corporation for over 5 years. She worked closely
with some of the world's top colorists and assisted them at regional hair shows before deciding to go back to work behind
the chair.
